Ok So I know toddlers have minds of their own but my goodness sometimes I just wish Kylie would listen!!!  We have definately have entered the terrible two's for sure.  Sometimes I catch myself after saying NO a few times...and wonder is she even hearing me?  Just this evening she pinched her hand in the closet door after daddy repeatedly told her no that will hurt, stay away please...well, one good pinch and one popsicle later I think it may have finally set in~~!!! 

Ok Ok it's been awhile!!!  I am such a lazy bones when it comes to doing any sort of journal, scrapbook or photo album.  I lack that creative motivation that I admire in other people.  I was always a rotten pen pal...doomed from the start if you got stuck with me!!!  I hope Kylie inherits creative genes from her aunties because she certainly won't be getting any from me! 

 

Well, it has been so long since I last entered journal entry that I don't know where to begin.  We just had Halloween and it was so fun to see Kylie get into the celebration this year.  Her good friend Liam was dressing up as Elvis this year (so cute!) he had the Elvis wiggle down pat it was hysterical!!!  Kylie was a bunny...actually she looked like the Easter Bunny!!!  I was amazed she even wanted to dress up...you never know with her.  She got to eat her first package of mini M&M's, oh my goodness she LOVES them.   It is very hard to convince a 2 year old that M&M's are not part of a daily diet!!! 

 

What else...hmmm.  Kylie has been busy during the week - she does yoga (so fun) and has been taking a toddler explorer arts and crafts class at the YMCA in Hanover (nana takes her).  She seems to love it...I can't wait until the winter session comes out so I can sign her up for some more classes.  On Fridays she goes to play with Liam at his grammys house across the street while I am at work....they have a blast over there.  I love that her schedule is so diverse.

 

We recently found out that Kylie will be becoming a big sister in June of next year...let the craziness begin!!!!  Actually, this time around I have been sick and not feeling well...not fun!  I can't wait to see what a big helper Kylie will be.  She wants a DITTA....you know a sister.   I keep asking if she wants a brother and she says NO a DITTA!!!  So cute and so funny.  She has such a personality and at times is very bossy...I hope it is just a two year thing and will pass!!  She is growing up so fast these days and the things that come out of her mouth amaze me more and more.  Kylie actually told Scott after he poked fun at me over something  "YOU BE NICE TO HER DADDY" ahhh thanks honey girls rule!!! 

 

The weather is changing fast and I can tell winter is in the air.  The days are shorter and I am sure snow is on the future soon.  Scott and Kylie play hockey in the driveway (well...i don't know if you call it hockey) but they use sticks and a net and basically there is alot of chasing after balls.  If they aren't doing that she is usually trying to sit in daddys truck and pretend to drive...she sits in his seat and touches all the buttons and knobs...its funny to watch.  She even takes his change out of the console!!!! 

 

I hope to write more and keep up with this but these days things have been so busy finding the time to even write a quick email has been difficult.  I can't believe Thanksgiving is coming in just a couple of weeks....amazing.  Time really does "fly by" as you age.  Hopefully we will all have time to stop and enjoy the holiday season and get lots of rest!!!!

This is one of Kylie's funny little sayings that makes her daddy laugh.  When you ask Kylie if something is big she says yes and then mutters in her cute little 2 year old voice IT'S HUGE!!!  We don't even know where she learned that word!  How does she knows it is similiar to the word big?  Too funny. 

 

Well, summer has come and gone and the fall season is setting in.  I hope we get to go apple picking or do something fun to enjoy this time of year as it is my personal favorite.  I love the summer but when fall is in the air I just can't wait to see mums sprouting up all over the place, pumpkins, smell my macintosh apple Yankee candle burning and drink yummy pumpkin spice coffee from MaryLou's.  

 

I have been thinking about what Kylie will be for Halloween this year, I think I am going to let her pick her costume this year, she seems so independent these days.  My favorite line is "I do myself"!  No matter what it is..."Kylie do"!  I am sorry honey no you cannot walk down the stairs by yourself yet...she is growing up so fast.     

Ok, so I have never been the most organized or even creative person for that matter...BUT..I am going to give this whole website journal thing a whirl.  Thank You Gale for giving me the motivation to get it started!!  My goal is to give Kylie a journal of what her life was like when she was little .  Kylie can look back and see what she and her family and friends were doing way back when (oops sorry honey, your first year of life was a blur, so we will have to start at 2, please forgive me).  Family and friends have always been an important part of both my life and Scott's.  So look forward to some journal entries full of family, friends, love, and most importantly LAUGHTER!!!  Happy Reading! XOXOXOX
